2018 was busiest year yet at Heart Valve Voice. We have accomplished a lot over 2018 including our Gold Standard of Care Guidelines, the first ever European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day, the London to Paris Cycle ride, The Patient Portraits Photography competition, patient events, meetings, parliament events, conferences and much more.

Trustees Keith Jackson and Pat Khan recently attended the Issues and Answers conference held in Nottingham. The yearly conference was co-chaired by Dr Chris Arden, GPSI cardiology, Chandlers Ford, and editor-in-chief of Primary Care and Cardiovascular Journal (PCCJ).

The EACTS meeting brings together health professionals devoted to the practice of cardio-thoracic surgery. Their membership spreads all over the world with 4000 active members including surgeons, perfusionists and allied health professionals.
